Pet Tiny Desk AI Video: Put Your Pets in the Band

Cast your dog, cat or rabbit in a desk-concert band. Pets can take any spot, from lead singer to sax, alone or alongside people.

Every spot in a TinyDesk band can go to a pet. Put the dog on lead, the cat on keys, and the rabbit on backing vocals, or mix pets and people in one band. The sample above was made from five AI-generated pet photos.

Cast your pets

What You Get

  • A 15-second video with sound, as a 720p MP4 with no watermark.
  • Your pets in the band, staying animals the whole time.
  • Vertical 9:16 for TikTok, Reels and Shorts, or landscape 16:9 for YouTube.
  • A second copy without sound, for apps that mute music.

How to Make It

  1. Open the generator with Band selected under Cast.
  2. Add the lead singer's photo. The lead gets the long close-up, so pick your most photogenic pet.
  3. Add more pets, or people, under Add your band. Each spot needs its own photo.
  4. Under each pet photo, choose Pet.
  5. Pick a vibe and a format, confirm, and tap Generate video.

Only have one pet photo? Choose Whole band under Cast, and that one pet plays every role.

Pet Photo Tips

  • One pet per photo, with the head and upper body in frame and the eyes open.
  • A plain background that contrasts with the fur.
  • Good light and a sharp photo. Avoid dim, blurry or heavily filtered shots.
  • The original photo, not a screenshot.

What to Expect

  • Pet bands get a freshly staged desk concert with the trend's song, rather than the shot-for-shot trend cut.
  • Pets keep their breed, fur colour and markings from the photo.
  • They bob and sway to the music instead of singing like people.
  • Paws on instruments are where AI video varies most, so some takes look funnier than others.

Pet Band Ideas

  • The dog on lead and the cat refusing to look impressed on keys.
  • Every pet in the house as one family band.
  • You on lead with your pets as the backing singers.
